Mr. Kaspar was born in Lebanon and trained at Nadi al-Fonun al-Arabia in Aleppo, Syria. Mr. Kaspar has performed with Fairuz, Farid al-Atrache, Sting, and other high-profile entertainers and has recorded with Ali Jihad Racy, Kadim al-Sahir, and the Kronos Quartet.

Mr. Kaspar will perform with Latin-American drummer Alejo Poveda and South Indian percussionist Kalyan Pathak on Friday, April 2, at 7:30 p.m. This performance will be held at Southwest Youth Services Collaborative, 6400 S. Kedzie. Admission is free.
